About Richelle

Hello & Welcome!

My name is Richelle (pronounced: Rish-elle).  Most Friends & Family call me simply Rish.

I've always had a passion for helping others.  Whether it be at home, at church, in the workplace or in the studio/gym, I am always lending a helping hand.

After having 4 children, I found myself overweight and on the verge of being prescribed high blood pressure medication.  I realized then that I needed to make a change in my health and lifestyle so I could be healthy for myself and my family.  Because how can one help others if you are not healthy enough to do so?

In 2009, I was introduced to hot yoga by a friend and absoluteily fell in love with it!   Since then I have kind of become a fitness fanatic.

I had purchased a fitness program years before: Insanity!  But it sat on a shelf for a couple years... After dusting it off and getting my health in order, I decided to become a Beachbody Coach.  I continue to work out at home w/ P90X3, T25, PiYo, 21 Day Fix, and 21 day Fix Extreme.

From those in home workouts to studio hot yoga classes and more recently barre and pilates classes, I am always working hard to stay fit.   I continue to learn more about fitness and I am always striving to do my best so that I can give you my best!  If you're not already part of my fit fam, I'd love for you to be!

My Family

I am a happy wife to my loving husband, Brian. Together we have 4 beautiful children - Brennan, Kainoa, Ricky and Riley. Each have their own personality which we love. We enjoy going to church together and spending time with one another.   Whether it be watching a movie or going hiking, it's always (well, almost always) a fun time.  haha

PiYo & Barre
Instructor

In July of 2014, while on vacation in California, I was informed that Beachbody Headquarters was holding a certification class to become a certified PiYo Live Instructor.  I thought, what a great way for me to not only help people in Beachbody challenge groups, but also be able to help others in a group fitness environment so... I decided to take the course and become certified.  I absolutely love teaching this format because it allows students to experience a fun, yet challenging workout to the beat of energetic music.  Nothing boring about PiYo!  That's for sure!

While teaching PiYo at my home Studio, Elev8 Hot Yoga, I was introduced to Hot Barre.  I fell in love once again and in Septemer of 2015 became a certified Barre (fitness) Tender!

This summer I decided to finally take the yoga teacher training course.  This was such an amazing experience for me and I am so excited and honored to start teaching yoga classes!
